Wyckoff Volunteer Prepare Snack Packs For Center For Food Action

Real estate agents give back to the community.

WYCKOFF, N.J. – (June 6, 2016) – Thirty volunteers from the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes real estate office collected food and created snack packs for children with the Center for Food Action as part of the annual statewide Coldwell Banker Cares Day event.

The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office purchased all the required items to create 445 weekend snack packs in accordance with the Center for Food Action's weekend Snack Pack program. Those items included milk, juice, fruit, mac and cheese, Chef Boyardee, granola and cereal. After collecting these goods, the volunteers carefully assembled the packages to be distributed to children qualifying for free and reduced lunch throughout Bergen County.

“We were so happy to help out such an important cause, and to be part of the larger Coldwell Banker Cares Day effort throughout New Jersey and New York,” said Jane Trust Ryan, branch vice president of the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes office and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares chairperson.
