A video submitted by a student at the school showed the deer jumped into glass window outside the lobby Friday morning.
Police said the deer was able to exit the building and go back outside, NBC4 reported.
A police officer reportedly told NBC4 that the deer was bleeding from the mouth, which was probably caused by running to walls and doors, but did not appear badly hurt.
Franklin Lakes Police Capt. John Bakelaar, Principal Travis Smith, and school district Business Administrator Frank Ceurvels could not immediately be reached for comment.
