Giovanna Cicerchia, a mother of three children, gave it her all on the latest episode of the fitness competition show.

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Two seconds. That’s how much Giovanna Cicerchia lost by on NBC’s “Strong” Thursday.
Cicerchia, a township native and stay-at-home mom with three children, proudly competed on the show for weeks on the Orange Team, but struggled on level three of the Elimination Tower.
“Sometimes in life, you get very few changes to get your dream. I always tell my children, do your best; you get up, you up. I want my words to mean something,” Cicerchia said before taking on the Elimination Tower. “I want my words to mean something.”
Cicerchia lost eight percent of her body fat, gained seven lbs. of lean muscle, and went from a size 12 to a size six.
“The Giovanna who came out to strong wasn’t healthy, I was a total emotional eater. Now I feel great,” Cicerchia said following her week five exit. “This is my life, to be healthy, to be strong,”
