Dozens Of Franklin Lakes Express Scripts Employees Losing Their Jobs
The 66 employees who are losing their jobs are the latest in what has been a series of layoffs for the pharmaceutical giant.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — Dozens of Franklin Lakes-based employees of the largest pharmacy benefit manager in the United States are losing their jobs.
Express Scripts Holding Co., of St. Louis, is laying off 66 employees working in work-from-home positions in the borough, company spokesman Brian Henry said.
The employees were notified Feb. 22. They will be paid for 60 days from that date. The company is not closing its Franklin Lakes facility.

"As part of our regular business practices, we continually assess our operational needs to ensure we’re as efficient as possible, while meeting the needs of the clients and members we serve," Henry said. "We will be able to more effectively meet the needs of our clients and members by consolidating work being done in New Jersey into our other front-end pharmacies across the country."
Express Scripts employs 3,100 in New Jersey. That number is after 60 Franklin Lakes and 20 Montvaleemployees were laid off in 2014 and more than 100 in 2013, NJ.com reported.
