Acclaimed author Carolyn Custis James to speak at clergy spouse event at Christian Health Care Center

The Church Relations Ministry of Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) in Wyckoff invites all spouses of clergy in Northern New Jersey to participate in its annual Clergy Spouse Day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in the CHCC Auditorium, 301 Sicomac Ave., Wyckoff (please use 700 Mountain Ave. entrance). The special guest speaker is Carolyn Custis James, an international conference speaker and author of many books, including her most recent, The Gospel of Ruth: Loving God Enough to Break the Rules, and Half the Church: Recapturing God’s Global Vision for Women. Ms. James will speak on two topics: “Finding Your Place in the Story” and “Mrs. Noah – the Clergy Spouse’s Patron Saint.”

            The event is free of charge and is open to spouses of clergy from all faith communities. Lunch is included. Child care for preschool-aged children is available upon request, if you RSVP at least one week prior to the event with the name and age of the children.
