Double-Feature Poe Movie Night

Edgar Allan Poe was one of the originators of the horror genre, and his subject matter of live burial, revenge, nervous collapse, compulsion and demonic possession has inspired scores of artists to create works on similar themes. In the final of three events mixing theater with film, the library presents a dramatic reading of "William Wilson" followed by a screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic Spellbound, starring Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman. Professor Edward Shannon of Ramapo College introduces the double feature. For Poe fans who like to shop,  on-site from 12:30-7:30 will be Poehead.com, makers of whimsical and unique Poe memorabilia. A portion of their sales will be donated to the library.
