ECCR's 47th Annual Country Fair is a tradition in Wyckoff.The Fair is on Saturday, September 29th at Memorial Field behind the Wyckoff Library. There are many rides and games for the kids, pumpkin painting, make your own scarecrow, pony rides and various vendor booths displaying arts and crafts to jewelry.
The fair is hosted by DJ Bob Kern. The fair has delicious food to be purchased and even tasty lemonade from Abma's Farm.
This year ECCR wll be having an "Ultimate Bake -Off". There is no entry fee to participate. The judges will find the best bakers in the area.The judges are: Christopher DePhillips: Mayor of Wyckoff, Rosie Saferstein: food writer for NJ Monthly and "Table Hopping with Rosie", Lee Tremble: restaurant owner of the icon"Iron Horse Restaurant" in Westwood and Amanda Longo:head pastry chef at the"Venetian" in Garfield. There will be 2 baking contests:Professional and Home Bakers. The Professional Contest is mini cupcake contest for professional bakers and caterers. The judges will vote upon their favorite entry. The Home Bakers Contest is a cookie baking contest where the general public will have the opportunity to cast their vote on their favorite cookie.

Eastern Christian Children's Retreat is a non-profit organization providing residential programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. ECCR is located at :700 Mountain Avenue in Wyckoff. ECCR has group homes in Midland Park, Hawthorne and North Haledon. The fair has been the largest fundraiser for ECCR since 1965.
