First- and Second-Grade Book Discussion Group

First- and second-graders read and discuss Young Cam Jansen and the Missing Cookie by David Adler. Cam uses her amazing memory to help her friend Jason find out who ate his cookie. Children's Assistant Dolores Goetschius will also read Edgar, Allan and Poe and the Tell-Tale Beets by Natalie Rompella. Three brothers must find a way to discard their beets and other awful food before their mother makes the boys eat them. Poe Bingo follows! Preregistration required.
