Franklin Lakes Clean-Up Day

To alleviate the litter in town, the Borough's Environmental Commission and the Recycling Coordinator are holding a clean-up day on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve (formerly the Haledon Reservoir. Volunteers will receive gloves, bags, pick-up sticks and complimentary coffee and donuts provided by the Franklin Lakes Police Department.

Everyone is urged to join in this effort to beautify a lovely area of town. Three community service credits are available for participation.
