Jewish Identity 101: Assimilation and Intermarriage, A Short Course

A two-evening course on Jewish assimilation and intermarriage, subtitled “Survival in 21st Century America: Coping with Tough Questions and Fewer Answers,” will be conducted by Rabbi Joshua Cohen on Tuesday evenings, January 17 and 24, at 8:00 o’clock.  Recognizing the melting pot of societies and cultures that characterizes today’s America, the course will address questions like, “How do we balance living a Jewish life filled with values prescribed by the Torah with the successes of living in America?  What is the best course of study and action for continued growth and success of families with one Jewish parent?”  Rabbi Cohen promises an open and free dialogue.

The program is free and open to the public.  To register, call the synagogue office at (201) 560-0200.
