Debby Landesman, the preschool principal at Temple Beth Rishon, will be presenting a series of workshops for parents of young children. Ms. Landesman has been an Early Childhood educator for over 30 years, and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Andrew Friedland preschool community.
The first seminar is entitled How to Raise a Reader. Ms. Landesman will delve into the opportunities we have to enable our young children to become strong, avid readers with good comprehension skills. The program will explore the importance of talking and reading to children, encouraging open-ended thinking and developing a strong home library.
