Plans are in high gear for Wyckoff’s 2011 “Wyckoff Day,” to be celebrated on Saturday, June 11 at the Wyckoff Family YMCA, 691 Wyckoff Avenue. Festivities will kick-off at noon and feature a kiddie carnival, rides, games, activities, food, and live music and entertainment all day.
Hundreds of vendors, civic groups and local non-profits are scheduled to participate, offering games, activities, and prizes as well as goods and services such as clothing, pottery, jewelry, accessories, skin care, photography, and much more.
Entertainment on the outdoor stage is scheduled throughout the day including: Dave and Dan Graessle, the Ramapo High School Band, “No Time Lost,” the Y Chorus, “Craig’s List,” the YArts Theater Company, “The Jersey Royale,” Studio 691 Dance Company, Richie Arthur, “Jet Pack Taxi,” and Evan Toth.

Headliner Jimmy Buffett tribute band, “Jimmy and the Parrots,” will take the stage for the evening concert at 7pm. Stay all day and enjoy dinner before or during the show! (If evening concert is held indoors, limited seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Alcohol not permitted).
Parking will be prohibited on local streets as posted, however, free parking and shuttle service will be available from Advent Lutheran Church, Washington School, Wyckoff Reformed Church, Shop Rite/Greenwood Avenue lot, and Cornerstone Christian Church. Residents may also choose to ride bikes to the event—bike rack parking will be available. The Wyckoff Y is a smoke-free facility. Sorry, no pets!

This event is held at no cost to the Township of Wyckoff, and is made possible through the generous donations of: Inserra Shop-Rite Supermarkets, Nicholas Markets/North Haledon Foodtown, Phelps Construction Group, and 3 Chicas Mexican Kitchen. Wyckoff Day is presented by the Wyckoff Family YMCA.
