Wyckoff Readers Book Discussion Group

Adult Services Librarian Marilyn Force will lead the library's adult reading group through a comparison of The Beautiful Cigar Girl by Daniel Stashower, with the three Poe stories featuring cerebral detective C. Auguste Dupin that together founded the mystery genre. "Cigar Girl" is the nonfictional account of Mary Rogers, whose brutal murder inspired Poe to write a fictionalized version called "The Mystery of Marie Roget," a crime solved--at least in fiction--by Dupin. Preregistration required.
