Zoning Board special hearing: The Vista development

Two years of arguments to build The Vista, the largest building ever proposed in Wyckoff - - many times larger than ShopRite - - have brought us to this hearing.  Issues of traffic, water restrictions, environmental impact, runoff, and added demand on police, fire, and ambulance corps have been hotly debated.

Now, on October 1st, the Christian Health Care Center will present a redesigned, somewhat-smaller proposal, in response to a list of changes requested by the Zoning Board. The public will have an opportunity to hear the Zoning Board's reaction, and possibly to respond, themselves.

There is likely to be one final hearing after October 1st.  It all comes down to these two, critical hearings.  Whatever decisions are made will be final.  When tree clearing and blasting begin, it will be too late to ask, "What's this? How was this allowed?"
