NEW JERSEY - A woman seen in a viral video being choked by New Jersey-born film star Ezra Miller is speaking out as allegations against the actor climb.

Miller, 29, who uses they/them pronouns, grew up in Wyckoff. Their filmography includes Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice as well as the upcoming The Flash movie set for a June 2023 release.

The choking victim, who remained anonymous, told Variety that Miller repeatedly spit in her friend’s face before choking the woman and screaming in her face.

The woman was reportedly joking with Miller, asking about visible scars on his feet. Miller told her the marks were from a fight, Variety said.

“I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t,” she said. “All of a sudden, (they’re) on top of me, choking me, still screaming in my face if I want to fight.”

Another incident at the same bar involved the actor putting the man in a chokehold and later slapping him, Variety reported. Miller later apologized, bartender Carlos Reynir told the publication, and was allowed to continue frequenting the bar.

“We just brushed it off as two friends getting drunk and getting in a fight,” Reynir said. “It’s Iceland. That happens twice a weekend.”

The actor has faced a slew of legal troubles since the choking incident at a bar in Iceland in 2020, including a trespassing charge in Germany and two arrests on the same day in Hawaii involving Miller throwing a chair at a woman and another violent episode at a karaoke bar. Hawaii police said Miller yelled obscenities and eventually grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman who was singing. Miller later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts, police said. Two sets of parents have also filed orders of protection against the actor.

Chase Iron Eyes and Sara Jumping Eagle claim that their child Gibson Iron Eyes was groomed by Miller since the age of 12, with Miller allegedly using “cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior," "violence, intimidation" and a “pattern of corrupting a minor.” Read more: NJ Actor Ezra Miller Accused Of Grooming Young Girl, 12: Reports

Miller is also currently hosting a mother and her three children at their Vermont farm, Rolling Stone reported. The children's father told the publication that the kids are unsafe at the home, recalling an instance in which a one-year-old allegedly picked up a loose bullet and put it in her mouth. The father also reports multiple unattended firearms on the property, as well as significant marijuana use around the children.

Film executives have put several projects involving Miller on hold due to surmounting legal issues, according to Rolling Stone.
