FEMA Assistance Teams Coming To Wyckoff This Week

WYCKOFF, NJ — The Federal Office of Emergency Management has sent Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams to municipalities across Bergen County over the course of the last week, and representatives are scheduled to be in Wyckoff on Friday.

These teams will be on hand to answer questions, assist with registration for FEMA Individual Assistance, and conduct inquiries on the status of existing applications.

They are scheduled to be at Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the Monroe Avenue side.

According to county officials, these dates are supplemental to the disaster recovery center that opened in the Bergen Community College Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack.

The center will host representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration, who can assist residents as they fill out applications for disaster relief.

The disaster recovery center is located on the first floor of the learning center, at 355 Main St., Hackensack, NJ. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice. Parking is available on Berry Street.
