Firefighters, Police Rescue Kitten From Storm Drain In Franklin Lakes
Crews from rescue 333 and Engine 331 assisted the Franklin Lakes police with the rescue.
FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — Borough firefighters and police rescued a kitten trapped in a storm drain Saturday night, authorities said.
Photos posted on the borough fire department's Facebook page showed a police officer and firefighter holding the tiny orange and white kitten after it was rescued near the High Mountain Road ramp to Route 208.
Crews from fire rescue truck 333 and Engine 331 responded to help police at the scene.

The kitten was taken to a nearby animal hospital and was thought to be in good health, fire Chief Ryan Dodd told NJ.com.
