Former First Lady Laura Bush, Daughter To Appear At Bergen Y Tuesday

Bush and Jenna Bush Hager will talk about the newest book they've written, "Our Great Big Backyard," in Wyckoff.

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Former First Lady Laura Bush and her daughter Jenna Bush Hager will be at the Wyckoff Family YMCA to talk about “Our Great Big Backyard,” the second book they’ve co-authored.

The mother-daughter team wrote the book to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. They will be at the Y Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Bush is a hiking and outdoor enthusiast and former second grade teacher and librarian who has supported education reform and encourages people to take care of America’s national parks.

Hager is a contributing correspondent on the “Today show and is the author of “Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope,” which she wrote traveling to Latin America in 2006.

Advanced registration is required to attend the event. Admission tickets, which include a signed copy of the book, cost $20 a person. There is limited seating available.
