Former 'RHONJ' Star Kathy Wakile Opens Pizza Love In Wyckoff

WYCKOFF, NJ — Former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Kathy Wakile announced that her new pizzeria, Pizza Love, is open.

Wakile, 51, moved to Franklin Lakes from Wayne a few years ago, posted about the restaurant's opening on Instagram.

"The Wait is Over!! Who's Hungry? Pizza Love's kitchen is heating up & testing our menu," Wakile said on Instagram.

She also posted pictures of other pizza, garlic knots, salads and gelato. The restaurant is located at 637 Wyckoff Ave. It will serve pizza and other traditional Italian dishes.

Wakile told NJ.com that opening a restaurant is something she had been wanting to do for a long time.

Food has always been a passion of Wakile's. She created her own line of desserts and published a dessert cookbook called: "Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet."

Wakile appeared on "Housewives" from 2011, but cut back on her time on the show in 2014. She will not appear in season eight when it premiers Oct. 4.
