Nemo Means Early Dismissal for Franklin Lakes K-8 Students
Wintery forecast has forced most schools across Bergen County to amend schedules on Friday.

Franklin Lakes Public School District joined Ramapo-Indian Hills high schools and Wyckoff Public Schools in declaring early closure of their schools Friday in the face of Nemo, a potentially nasty snow show that is headed our way this weekend.
"Based on the most recent weather forecasts, our schools will have an early dismissal on Friday, Feb. 8. All students and staff will follow a minimum day schedule. Dismissal will be at 12:15 p.m. at the middle school and 1 p.m. at the elementary schools," administrators wrote in a message on the school's website late Thursday.
"Due to the anticipated changing weather conditions overnight, we will reevaluate our early dismissal decision tomorrow morning at 5 a.m. If it is necessary to change our decision, we will notify you in the morning. Thank you."
