Franklin Lakes Expected to Vote on Woodside Principal
Board of Education may approve the hire of a principal from Hopewell Elementary School after an exhaustive seven month search.
Franklin Lakes school officials could vote to fill the much-contested principal post at Woodside Avenue Elementary School on Wednesday.
According to the meeting agenda the board is expected to receive the retirement of Woodside's acting principal, Helen Attenello effective August 1, 2013.
Superintendent Frank Romano has recommended that the board approve Christine Laquidara, currently a Principal at Hopewell Valley Regional School District, as the principal at Woodside.

Details of Laquidara's contract include a prorated salary of $152,000 from July 8 to June 30, 2014.
