Franklin Lakes Man Charged With Marijuana Possession

A 20-year-old Franklin Lakes resident was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in Oakland, police said.

While on patrol, Officer Bryan Rowin pulled over a motorist he saw smoking marijuana, Oakland Police Officer Christian Eldridge said.

The passenger in the vehicle, Richard Pagano, of Franklin Lakes, and the driver, Ryan Warnet were arrested and charged, Eldridge said.

Pagano and Warnet were processed and released on their own recognizances, police said.
