Franklin Lakes PD Blotter: Money, Cards Taken From Unlocked Cars
Two people reported their cash or credit cards taken from unlocked vehicles between July 10 and July 12, police said.

7/10/2021
3:15 PM – A Rock Ridge Court resident reports his unlocked BMW X5 was entered sometime overnight and cash removed from his wallet. The investigation is ongoing.

7:18 AM – A Clara Court resident reports she observed a male actor run up her driveway and attempt to enter her locked vehicle. The actor then fled in an awaiting vehicle. Officers checked the area with negative results. The investigation is ongoing.

3:21 PM – A Lodi resident reports his unlocked vehicle was entered and wallet stolen while visiting his mother on Woodfield Road. Several of his credit cards were then used fraudulently. The investigation is ongoing.

10:29 AM - As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rt 208, a 46-year-old Spring Lake, NJ man was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance(s), Drug Paraphernalia and Hypodermic Needles. PO Stephanie Hallihan was the arresting officer.
