Franklin Lakes Woman Charged With DWI After Hit-And-Run: Police

The crash was reported at 3 a.m. on Franklin Lakes Road, police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — A borough resident was charged with driving while intoxicated after a reported hit-and-run crash Sunday morning.

Police investigated the crash at 3 a.m. on Franklin Lakes Road, said Capt. John Bakelaar.

As result of the investigation, Maria Harper, 42, was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and reckless driving, Bakelaar said.
