Hackensack Woman Dumped Boiling Water On Man During Fight, Police Say
Evelyn Sampson was arrested and charged Wednesday following the dispute at an apartment on Lehigh Street in Hackensack.

HACKENSACK, NJ — A Hackensack woman is facing several charges after police said she dumped boiling water on a man during a fight.
Evelyn Sampson, 62, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon after she got into an argument with a man shortly after 10 a.m. at an apartment on Lehigh Street in Hackensack, police said in a news release.
During the dispute, police said Sampson poured boiling water on the man.

The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, police said.
Sampson was arrested and taken to Bergen County Jail pending her first court appearance.
