Jewelry was also taken from another home, police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — Cash and jewelry were reportedly taken from a burglarized Franklin Lake Road Sunday, police said.

The homeowner reported that the residence was burglarized sometime between 5:30 and 10 p.m., said Capt. John Bakelaar. Entry was gained by prying open a back window, Bakelaar said.

The homeowner was compiling a list of missing property, police said. Several police officers investigated the burglary and the Bergen County Sheriff's Department processed the crime scene, the captain said.
