Jewelry Stolen From Burglarized Franklin Lakes Home: Police
Breaking: Several rooms were ransacked, police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Jewelry was taken from a burglarized Bayberry Lane home Monday, police said.
The homeowner reported that the burglary occurred at some time between 5:30 and 9:40 p.m., said Capt. John Bakelaar.
The house was entered through an "unsecured door" and several rooms were ransacked, Bakelaar said.

A unknown amount of jewelry was stolen from the home, the captain said.
The Bergen County Sheriff's Department Crime Scene Unit responded and processed the location for evidence.

Several Franklin Lakes Police officers investigated the burglary.
