Ku Klux Klan Recruitment Fliers Distributed In Bergen County
Fliers say "Join the Klan and Save Our Land" and include a website and phone number for the group, according to the report.

Fliers urging residents to join the Ku Klux Klan have been appearing on doorsteps and in driveways in Lyndhurst, sparking outrage from the Bergen County NAACP.
The fliers, which reportedly say “Join the Klan and Save Our Land,” and include a website address and phone number for the Loyal White Knights of the KKK, a report by The Record states. The flyers feature a drawing of hooded Klansman on a horse with two flags: A Confederate battle flag and a Revolutionary War-era flag.
A few residents reported the fliers to the Lyndhurst Police Department. NBC News reported the fliers were tossed in front of residences in a plastic bag with pebbles inside, so they wouldn’t fly away.

“The Bergen County NAACP denounces all forms of racism, hatred and bigotry,” Cureton said in the report. “The thought of recruitment for one of the most hatred-filled organization rekindles a mindset that in this present day and time will result in more hate crimes.”
