LA Staple Dave's Hot Chicken Brings Nashville Taste To NJ: Report

NJ.com reports that the Los Angeles-based chain will continue expanding, this time with 14 locations in North Jersey.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — What started as a Nashville hot chicken pop-up in Los Angeles quickly became a national brand, and now Dave's Hot Chicken will be expanding from the west coast into New Jersey, NJ.com reports.

Opening dates and specific locations haven't been announced, but the reports say that restaurants are expected in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties.

"The New Jersey-New York (area) is very important to our growth," CEO Bill Phelps said in a statement. "I’m thrilled to introduce Dave’s Hot Chicken to more new customers throughout the East Coast."
