Letter to the Editor: BOE Candidate Carolan is Principled, Practical

To the Editor,

We are pleased to support the election of John A. Carolan to the Wyckoff School Board.

We have known John and his family for the past 12 years and share many of the same values with them, centered on the importance of family and our appreciation for the quality of life from living in Wyckoff.

John is a results-driven individual who is fully committed to any project he takes on. John tackles issues by combining strong principles with a pragmatic approach.

He has been a successful employee at the company he has worked at for over 23 years. He is a father with two children in the schools system, and we know that John will apply his personal attention along with his business skills to his efforts on the board of education. He knows that a strong educational system is an important part of any good community that keeps a town competitive to keep and attract residents and their families.

The Wyckoff School system is one of the main reasons we have been so pleased to be a part of this community. We are also taxpayers and desire to have a quality school system that comes at an affordable cost.

We know that John will be a good steward of our tax dollars, and will work to support the quality education we all expect for our children at a reasonable cost for Wyckoff.
