As a school board trustee myself, I have come to fully understand what is required to have a highly functioning, effective and efficient school board.

Those of us who hold this responsibility need to view our positions on the board as a public trust, and we must adhere to our roles as policy makers. We must be guided by a process that always serves the best interests of our students and never serves any individual agendas.

Having known Michael Ben-David personally for a number of years, I can confidently attest that he has the ability and the integrity to serve our community with distinction.

Please carefully consider your choice before voting for the Franklin Lakes Board of Education and check column 3 for Michael Ben-David on November 6th. Your voice matters.

The opinions expressed above are my own and do not represent those of the Franklin Lakes Board of Education.

Signed,
Susan McGowan
