Food
I have a gourmet kitchen in my home and really enjoy cooking. I've taught my sons survival cooking skills, which I think is an important life skill. My family loves my crab cakes with lemon dill sauce. When I get together with friends I like to go to — the margaritas are delicious. Dinner is always healthy and flavorful at Varka. But, there's nothing better than entertaining friends with home cooking and some good wine.
Entertainment
I can’t wait to watch the Olympics this summer especially the swimming competitions. I play paddle tennis at Brookside Racquet and Swim Club. When I had more free time I enjoyed golf at . I love to do the simple things like take a walk with a friend and watch a movie.

On The Issues
Shopping locally and supporting small businesses in your community contributes to the quality of life of your town — we can help stimulate the economy by patronizing stores owned by people in our neighborhood.
Wishes
I wish there was a place in town that teenagers could drop in and meet friends. Nobody likes seeing kids just hanging out at Boulder Run.
Wyckoff
I believe in giving back to the community. I am very involved with the Wyckoff YMCA’s Sharks swim team. I coach the 9 and 10 year-old age group. I hold a fundraiser at my home each fall to benefit the Oasis Summer Swim Camp and the Sharks national swim team. Members of the Sharks swim team teach the campers how to swim at the Y each summer. stands for the values I believe in caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. I previously taught an adult spin class at the Y as well.
One project I loved being involved with was the renovation of the home economics classroom at . I designed the kitchen and recruited local businesses to donate products to make it a great learning environment for the future cooks of Wyckoff — it was a gratifying experience.
