Local Scholars: College News and Notes

Oakland's Seth Sharber, a senior chemistry major, has been named to the dean's list at Messiah College.

Brianne Donohue and Daniel McNamara, both of Wyckoff, graduated from Providence College. Donohue graduate Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's in elementary and special education, and McNamara earned a degree in psychology.

At Coastal Carolina University, Allyson Gilard and Casey O'Connor of Wyckoff and Jenna Curcura of Franklin Lakes were named to the dean's list. Gilard is a sophmore majoring in intelligence & national security studies, political science; O'Connor is a senior communication major; and Curcura is a freshman health promotion major.

Morgan Levine of Oakland, a freshman psychology student, was named to the dean's list at York College of Pennsylvania.

Oakland's Brittany Velardi was initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, a collegiate academic honor society. Velardi is a student at The College of New Jersey.

Wyckoff's Sohil Aggarwal received a bachelor's in accounting and business administration, graduating from Washington and Lee University this month.

Kristen A. Ondich, of Oakland, participated in the post baccalaureate commencement this month at the University of Scranton. Ondich earned a master's in occupational therapy. Christine V. Moleti of Franklin Lakes also graduated from the university with a bachelor's in exercise science.

Tyler Kollinok, of Wyckoff, and Matthew C. Baczewski were named to the dean's list at Lebanon Valley College. Kollinok is a Ramapo High School graduate studying music recording technology. Baczewski is a graduate of Indian Hills who is pursuing a degree in English.

Franklin Lakes resident Andrew Matarese graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in government.
