Mahwah Man Charged With Wyckoff Jewelry Robbery

Breaking: Brian D. Lang, 55, was arrested after police found the jewelry at several pawn shops, police said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A Mahwah man was arrested and charged with theft after he stole and sold several pieces of jewelry from a township woman's home, police said.

Detective Sgt. Kevin Kasak obtained a search warrant and searched Brian D. Lang's Mahwah home and found jewelry that was missing from the home, which the woman reported stolen Nov. 27, Lt. Joseph Soto said.

Kasak went to several local pawn shops and found several pieces of jewelry the woman identified as hers, Soto said.

Lang, 55, was arrested Dec. 12, Soto said. He is due to appear in court on the theft charge, Soto said.
