The only woman employee at a Wyckoff small business saw German G. Gonzalez bending down near the sink in the businesses’ only bathroom, said Chief Benjamin C. Fox. Gonzalez allegedly told the woman he was picking something up from the floor.
The 56-year-old woman used the bathroom and later found a cell phone taped to the water supply line under the sink, Fox said.

Gonzalez may have taping the woman using the bathroom for as long as two years, police said. He was charged with invasion of privacy for videotaping the intimate body parts of another person without her consent.
Gonzalez was released on his own recognizance and the complaint against him was referred to Bergen County Superior Court.
