Man Threatened To Kill Woman On Text Message, Franklin Lakes Police Say

Worker at Dunkin Donuts said she received a text message Thursday morning.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ - A Ridgewood man was arrested Thursday for allegedly threatening to kill a Dunkin Donuts employee, police said.

The employee received a text message Thursday morning from someone who threatened to kill her with a handgun, Lt. John Bakelaar said.

Police investigated and arrested Steephen Nimralarajan, 25, of Ridgewood; his residence was searched and no firearm was found, Bakelaar said.

Nimralarajan was charged with cyber-harassment and making terroristic threats. Bail was set at $5,000. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail, Bakelaar said.
