Man Tried To Enter Franklin Lakes Home: Police
The man fled after a burglar alarm was activated, police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — A resident saw a man trying to enter his Scioto Drive home early Monday morning, police said.
The resident saw the man in his backyard at 2:41 a.m., said Capt. John Bakelaar. The man had pulled on the home's rear sliding door in an attempt to enter the house, police said.
The man was described as white, with a beard, and wore a T-shirt, baseball, and carried a backpack.

The man feld the area after an alarm system was activated, Bakelaar said.
Officers Jon Ryander, Dennis Hill, and Mark MacQuesten investigated the incident.
