New Wyckoff YMCA Program Designed To Have Kids 'Link' Up
Seventh- and eighth-grade program will be held next month.
WYCKOFF, N.J. – Local middle-schoolers have a new resource to help them make good decisions: Each other.
The Link is the Wyckoff Family YMCA’s new initiative for seventh- and eighth-graders.
Students will meet with each other five times and discuss how to make good choices and “be armed with tools to keep them grounded, overcome barriers, and stay on track,” a statement from the Y.
Peer pressure, stress, and nutrition are just some of the topics that are planned on being covered.
The Link will run Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. in May. The cost is $50. Each session includes dinner, a discussion, a message from a guest speaker, and a fun activity.
