NJ Legislators' Plan Would Cut Lead In Schools' Drinking Water
Senator Cory Booker, Rep. Josh Gottheimer and local clean water advocates will announce their plan Monday.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Legislators and local clean water advocates will announce a legislative plan Monday to cut lead in schools' drinking water.
Senator Cory Booker and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), together with Amy Goldsmith, director of Clean Water Action, Doug O'Malley, director of Environment New Jersey and Jeff Tittel, director of the Sierra Club's New Jersey chapter, will announce the plan at Hackensack High School Monday at 10:30 a.m.
Environment New Jersey is a citizen-run group that tries to increase awareness of environmental issues and promote solutions.
