Police Urge Wyckoff Residents To Clear Vehicles, Sidewalks Of Snow And Ice

WYCKOFF, NJ - Police Chief Benjamin C. Fox urges residents to continue to take steps to ensure safe traveling for pedestrians and motorists in the township.

Summonses may be issued to residents who do not clear their sidewalks because they need to be clear for school children and pedestrians to use, Fox said.

Snow and ice must be removed from vehicles. Fines between $25 and $75 for each instance of the violation, whether ice and snow is dislodged from a vehicle, Fox said.

If dislodged ice or snow causes property damage or injures someone, motorists may be fined between $200 or $1,000, Fox said.
