Real Housewives Star: Blame My Lawyer For Jail Time
Giudice is suing her Passaic County bankruptcy lawyer for failing to list her assets. She's set to go to jail for 15 months.

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice apparently is blaming her lawyer for the fact that she’s heading to federal prison in January to serve 15 months for bankruptcy, mail and wire fraud.
Giudice is suing her Passaic County bankruptcy lawyer, James Kridel, for failing to list her assets - an important point of the federal government’s case against her, according to nj.com.
Failing to list those assets resulted in a plea deal and a jail sentence for Teresa, and will send her husband, Joe, to prison for 41-months.

Kridel has not been served any papers for a lawsuit that was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, the New York Daily News reports.
Kridel did not meet with Teresa before filing her bankruptcy documents, so she blames him for her fraud conviction and is now seeking $5 million in damages, according to nj.com.
