Rep. Gottheimer Endorses Carla Pappalardo for Wyckoff Council

Gottheimer said Pappalardo is, 'deeply invested in our community and eager to work across the aisle to cut taxes.'

WYCKOFF, NJ — Rep. Josh Gottheimer has endorsed Democrat Carla Pappalardo for election to the Township Council.

Gottheimer, a first-term congressional Democrat from Wyckoff who is running for re-election, said he was "thrilled" to support Pappalardo.

"As an 18-year Wyckoff resident and Wyckoff mom, she is deeply invested in our community and eager to work across the aisle to cut taxes, ensure clean drinking for our children, claw back more of our tax dollars to New Jersey for our police and firefighters, and keep our community safe from crime and terror," Gottheimer said.

Pappalardo has never held elected office. She is a longtime volunteer. She has been a Cub Scout leader, Parent Teacher Organization fundraising chair, and the executive producer of FLOW Follies.

Pappalardo is the lone Democrat running in this year's council election. She, along with Republican incumbents Thomas Madigan and Timothy Shanley, are running for two, three-year terms.
