Rooney To Serve Another Year As Wyckoff Mayor
Committeemen Thomas Madigan and John Carolan were sworn in to three-year terms at the committee's reorganization meeting Jan. 1.

WYCKOFF, NJ - Republican Kevin Rooney was appointed to a second one-year term as mayor Friday.
It is the first time since David O’Connell served as mayor in 1972 and 1973 that a mayor has served back-to-back terms, NorthJersey.com reported.
Democrat Committeeman Brian Scanlan, who nominated Rooney as mayor, was selected to be deputy mayor, the report said.

Rooney was re-elected to a third, three-year committee term in November.
Committeemen Thomas Madigan and John Carolan were also sworn in at the meeting.
