WYCKOFF, NJ — A number of Wyckoff residents filed petitions this week to run for Bergen County Committee, the township clerk said.

The 2022 primary election takes place on Tuesday, June 7 in New Jersey. The winners will earn their party's nomination for the general election, which takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and will also include independent candidates.

Voters have until May 17 to register for the primary election.

No Democrats filed to run for any municipal offices, according to information filed with Municipal Clerk Nancy A. Brown.

Mayor Rudolf E. Boonstra, Jr., whose term ends in December, is on the Republican ballot for Township Council.
