Franklin Lakes Man Stole Landscaping Equipment 4 Times: Police
Brian Hoeverman, 36, allegedly stole equipment and sold it in a Home Depot parking lot in Paterson.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — A borough man was charged Monday with theft after he reportedly stole landscaping equipment from trailers last month.
Brian Hoeverman, 36, was arrested after an investigation by the Franklin Lakes and Saddle River police departments into thefts of equipment from four landscape trailers, said Capt. John Bakelaar.
The thefts occurred on the following dates: Sept. 7 on Somerset Road, Sept. 8 and Olentangy Road, Sept. 25 on Birch Road and Sept. 28 on Apache Road, Bakelaar said.

Police did not find the property Hoeverman reportedly stole. They think it was sold in the parking lot of the Home Depot store in Paterson, Bakelaar said.
Hoeverman was turned over to the Saddle River Police Department and then remanded to the Bergen County Jail, the captain said.
