Show Of Well-Known Bergen Artist Is At Wyckoff Y

WYCKOFF, NJ -Oil paintings by renowned township artist Mark Oberndorf are on display at a special show at the Wyckoff Family YMCA.

Oberndorf, a Bergen County native, paints well-known area landmarks in North Jersey and New York City.

"My artistic goal is to capture the mood of my subject through intelligent observation and execution of all natural light effects, alongside faithful rendering of perspective and creative composition," Oberndorf said on his website.

Oberndorf has won dozens of awards for his work. His paintings are a part of the permanment collections of the Fritz Behnke Historical Museum in Paramus and Lambert Castle in Paterson.

The Y's art show and sale will be held until May 31.
