Standing with Carla Pappalardo Against Political Imbalance

There are 65 appointed positions on Wyckoff town boards and commissions. More than three-quarters of those seats are held by Republicans, but only 38% of Wyckoff residents are Republicans. This means that Independents and Democrats (62% of us) are underrepresented 2-to-1. That’s not fair.

Favoritism and nepotism have created this imbalance, and it’s time for a change. Every qualified individual of every political affiliation (or lack thereof) deserves the opportunity to serve. That’s why I’ll vote for Carla Pappalardo on Nov 6.

Carla stands for complete transparency in Wyckoff government and opening the right doors for everyone. She will work hard to ensure that we are all represented fairly on town bodies, not just the politically-connected chosen few.
