Teen Charged With Assault For Fighting At Ramapo Football Game
The 18-year-old was charged following an altercation with a juvenile. The 2 were arguing and 'punches were thrown,' police said.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — A teenager was charged with assault following a fight at the Ramapo High School football game Friday night, police said.
Officer Denny Knubel said two young men were arguing back and forth. The argument turned physical and "punches were thrown," said Detective Capt. John Bakelaar.
Luke Schmitzer, 18, of Sparta, was arrested and charged with simple assault, Bakelaar said.

The other person involved in the fight, a juvenile, was not charged, Bakelaar said, but charges could still be filed.
