Vehicles, Baby Formula, And A Bicycle Were Stolen In Wyckoff This Week: Police

A key fob was left in the one of the vehicles and a mountain bike was taken from an open garage, police said.

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Two vehicles, a mountain bike, and more than $200 in baby formula were stolen in the township this week, the police department reported Tuesday.

Here are the incidents the police department reported occurring in town recently:

  • Someone stole a vehicle out of a Cedar Hill Avenue resident's driveway sometime overnight, said Chief David Murphy. The resident reported the vehicle missing at 8:18 a.m. Nov. 29, the chief said. The matter was referred to the Detective Bureau.
  • A motor vehicle was reported stolen from an Oakwood Drive residence Sunday shortly after 5 p.m., Murphy said. The vehicle was left in the driveway with the key fob inside, police said. The matter was referred to police detectives.
  • A man shoplifted $230 in baby formula from the Stop & Shop, Murphy said. Sgt. Brian Zivkovich was dispatched to the store Saturday afternoon after security personnel reported watching video footage of the theft. The man left the store with the baby formula in his cart and did not pay for it, Murphy said. Police are investigating.
  • A TREK mountain bike was reported stolen Dec. 2 at 8 a.m. out of a MIdland Avenue garage that was left unlocked, Murphy said. The matter was referred to detectives.
