Video Allows Residents To Take Part In Simulated Shooter Drill, Ride Shotgun With Police

WYCKOFF, NJ — The township police department has created a video as part of its community outreach efforts that shows what it is like to actually be a police officer.

Officer Kyle Ferreira created the video, in part, using drones, The Daily Voice reported.

"I wanted to do something for outreach to the public when they search us online as well as when they come to headquarters," Murphy told Daily Voice.

The video shows what it is like to ride alongside an officer in a car and has a few seconds of a first-person perspective of what an officer might see during a shooter drill.
